With 2016 NBA Free Agency quickly approaching, let’s take a look at five possible destinations that would fit Dwyane Wade the worst.

For his entire NBA career, Dwyane Wade has been a member of the Miami Heat. The 12-time All-Star made headlines recently in shocking fashion as reports surfaced of him opening up his options and hitting the free agent market after talks with the Heat went nowhere. Could he finally be leaving South Beach?

No matter what doubters try to say, Wade keeps proving that he has more in the tank than he lets on. He rarely plays full seasons, but when he is on the court, he’s as effective as anyone in the league — probably a good reason why he’s won three titles with the Heat.

In fact, prior to the 2015-16 season, the 34-year-old Miami star hadn’t played in more than 70 games since the 2010-11 season, a feat he’s only accomplished six times in his 13-year NBA career. Those aren’t good odds for the next team to take a chance on a superstar with persistent health issues — most notable

The risk is worth the reward, though, as the No. 5 overall selection of the Miami Heat in the famous, and infamous for some teams, 2003 NBA Draft has solidified himself among the league’s elite players. He is commonly an All-Star and he’s even won the scoring title before.

Through 13 seasons, Wade has put up solid averages of 23.7 points, 5.8 assists, 4.8 rebounds and 1.7 steals per game. Not too shabby for a guy who is injury prone.

Wade has teamed up with LeBron James and Chris Bosh to win NBA titles in the past, will he leave Miami for the first time in his professional career and team up with some of the league’s top players once again in the chase for a league crown?

Let’s take a look at the absolute worst fits for the aging superstar.
