Free agency has been everything fans expected and more thus far. After a variety of crazy deals have gone down to begin free agency, it doesn’t look like the madness is going to be ending anytime soon.
One player that is on the market that will be interesting to watch to see what he does is Dwyane Wade. While most wouldn’t fathom the thought of Wade leaving Miami after spending his whole career there, it’s beginning to look like a real possibility.
According to ESPN’s Brian Windhorst, Wade is in contract talks with the Milwaukee Bucks and New York Knicks and could begin scheduling meetings next week to meet with teams.

It’s not surprising that Wade would consider Milwaukee, considering he played college ball in the area. To make things even more interesting, Ramona Shelburne is reporting that Wade wants to be compensated for the money that he has given up over recent years.

While this is all likely hardball to get money from the Heat, Wade is a businessman and is going to make sure he does what’s best financially for him. Even if that means creating some leverage for himself.
