Identifying the top high salary and value third baseman plays from around Major League Baseball for your July 2 DraftKings lineup.

Our goal is to help you win DraftKings contests with consistently strong lineups. To accomplish that, we’ll be highlighting some higher salary players worth paying up for, and some value picks that will help you save salary in key areas. These picks are specifically for DraftKings lineups, so all references to prices and fantasy points are based on DK figures.

As always, be sure to double-check final MLB lineups and monitor weather situations before locking in your DFS lineups.

High Salary

Jake Lamb, Diamondbacks (5,400): Lamb is making a legitimate push for a spot on the National League All-Star team. He’s now homered in three straight games and has 18 overall this season, tied for ninth in the NL. His 56 RBIs are tied for sixth. Lamb once again makes a great play Saturday against righty Jeff Samardzija (8-5, 3.91 ERA), as he’s upped his average against right-handers to .310.

Eduardo Nunez, Twins (5,100): Nunez is in the midst of a career season for the struggling Twins and he once again stands out as a solid play on Saturday. Nunez went hitless on Friday, snapping a streak of four consecutive double-digit fantasy-point performances. He’s hitting .314 against righties, which should bode well for his matchup with Texas Rangers right-hander Chi Chi Gonzalez (0-0, 9.00 ERA).

High Value

Kyle Seager, Mariners (3,900): Seager is a popular guy in this daily article space, but it’s for a good reason. He’s an elite play anytime he’s facing a right-hander, so Saturday’s matchup with Baltimore’s Tyler Wilson (4-5, 4.50 ERA) certainly qualifies. Seager is hitting .311 against righties, compared to .189 against lefties. Start him with confidence.

Justin Turner, Dodgers (3,700): Teammate Corey Seager gets most of the attention in Los Angeles, and deservedly so, but Turner is quietly putting together another decent season for the Dodgers. He’s on pace to set new career highs in home runs and RBIs. Saturday’s matchup with Colorado Rockies right-hander Chad Bettis (6-5, 5.84 ERA) is one to exploit.
