With money being thrown around the NBA so loosely this summer, this is a great time to rank each signing from worst to best.

Nothing is official until July 7, but that doesn’t take away from the excitement of free agency. As soon as the calendar turned to July, teams were able to start negotiating with free agent and boy have they done just that.

With the new $24 billion television deal kicking in, teams have more money than they can handle, which is why you’re seeing these baseball-like contracts getting tossed around.

If you were able to stay up during the wee hours of the night, you witnessed transaction after transaction.

It all started when the Los Angeles Lakers and Timofey Mozgov agreed to a four-year, $64 million deal, which had ‘Lakers Nation’ in an uproar on social media.

Shortly after, all-star shooting guard DeMar DeRozan agreed to stay in Toronto on a five-year deal worth $139 million.

Then, as the night went on we saw player such as Nicolas Batum and Jordan Clarkson get paid.

As the sun rose, bigger names like Hassan Whiteside, Bradley Beal and Chandler Parsons received major paydays.

With all of the constant movement, let’s get down to the rankings.
