NBA Free Agency 2016: Power Ranking Day 1 signings

What?
Money that looks normal?
Well, so much for me to say because I would love to get paid $12 million per year, which is what Jeremy Lin can expect for the next three years.
While Kemba Walker received many of the headlines for Charlotte, Lin played a major part as well.
He may not be ‘Linsanity’ anymore, but Lin is still a very solid point guard in today’s NBA. Off the bench, Lin averaged nearly 12 points per game to go along with 3.2 rebounds and 3.0 assists.
Lin will be reunited with Nets coach Kenny Atkinson, who was the Knicks assistant coach during Lin’s magical run. Lin gives Atkinson a lot of credit for his development, which may have played a major factor in his free agent decision.
It’s obvious that Brooklyn isn’t going anywhere anytime soon, so getting Lin at this price is actually considered a steal in today’s market. As the Nets continue to bolster their less than stellar roster, they have roughly $40 million left in cap space to spend this summer after reaching their first agreement.
After finishing a dreadful (21-61) this past season, don’t expect for Brooklyn to witness a major improvement this upcoming season, but it can’t get much worse or can it?
Next: 6. Dwight Howard
