Tour de France 2016: There has already been a huge crash on Day 1 (Video)

It’s just the first day of the Tour de France, and already we’ve had some epic crashes.

Every year the Tour de France comes into our lives — usually out of nowhere because most of us forget about it until there’s a crash.

Well, it’s happened. The Tour de France is here and it has already featured a couple of crashes on just the first day of the marathon.

Here are a couple of different angles of your first (or probably a few more) Tour de France spills this year:

There are still over 20 days of this left, which means it’s not going to be the last crash that we see. If it is, then that’s going to be pretty unprecedented.

Still, this race is more than just about the crashes. It’s an endurance test that mostly everyone of us watching videos of crashes would die if we tried. You want to talk about endurance, chances are you’re like me and you skipped around that video for the crash and then left.

So while it’s fun to watch people crash, let’s remember that we do so because these people are on a whole different level than the rest of us.
