According to Adrian Wojnarowski, free agent power forward Andrew Nicholson has agreed to a four-year deal worth $26 million with the Washington Wizards.

The Washington Wizards are quickly turning to other options after losing out on Kevin Durant and Al Horford. After nabbing center Ian Mahinmi, the Wizards have now reportedly agreed to a four-year deal with power forward Andrew Nicholson.

Combined with the signing of Mahinmi, this could mean that the Wizards are looking to move on from Nene. Nicholson, a first round pick in the 2012 NBA Draft, spent the first four seasons of his NBA career with the Orlando Magic. With the Magic adding several huge free agent pieces to their front court, Nicholson became expendable.

Expect Nicholson and Markieff Morris to split time as they each bring something different to the table. Morris is a more physical presence and a more traditional power forward. Nicholson is more of a stretch four option. He is largely unproven, playing just 15.1 minutes per game with the Magic. In his career, Nicholson has 6.5 points per game and 3.2 rebounds per game. His PER (player efficiency rating) of 14.8 last season was a career high, but it suggests that he was still a below average player since a rating of 15 is considered to be average.

The Wizards are getting younger and more versatile in free agency, but they still must add some significant pieces if they want to contend in the Eastern Conference.
