Kevin Durant will be making his decision soon, and that decision is apparently down to the Warriors and the Thunder

Throughout the day on Sunday, everyone was waiting to see whether or not we would get a decision from Kevin Durant, who officially finished up all of his meetings in the Hamptons. We recently found out that this decision will not be coming until Monday, but we do know that it’s a two-team race.

According to Royce Young of ESPN, now that all the meetings are in the books, it’s down to the Golden State Warriors and Oklahoma City Thunder.

The former NBA MVP met with several teams over the weekend, and while their pitches might have been good, the two from the Warriors and Thunder seemingly were just a little bit better for his taste.

So now, Durant will get set to make one of the more emotional decisions of his life. He can either shock the NBA world by going to form a super team with the Warriors, who are already a juggernaut in the league, or he could stay at least one more year with the only team that he has ever known in his career. Regardless of how annoyed people might be with how much time this is taking, it has to be remembered just how crucial of a decision this is for one of the best players in the NBA.

Either way, we’ll know for sure on Monday who will be winning out in this race.
