Oklahoma City Thunder fans did not take Kevin Durant signing with the Golden State Warriors very well as one fan proved by burning a Durant jersey.

Kevin Durant is going to the Golden State Warriors after Durant’s Oklahoma City Thunder blew a 3-1 Western Conference Finals lead to the Warriors. That is a decision that unquestionably made a lot of Thunder fans very upset and angry, and for good reason. Whenever a star athlete decides to move on from a team, there are always going to be some jersey burnings. The Durant jersey burnings have started off early.

Let’s just complete overlook that this guy could not even tell the difference between “trader” and “traitor”. A trader is someone who buys and sells things for a living while a traitor is someone who betrays a city. Signing with another team does not necessarily make you a traitor. It’s a move that is fairly common and most people would not hesitate to leave their job if a better one became available.

Durant’s legacy in Oklahoma City has surely taken a hit. He was beloved in Oklahoma City, helping build the team up and turn Oklahoma City into one of the league’s better basketball markets.
