Kevin Durant shockingly made the move to join the Golden State Warriors, and the Oklahoma City Thunder fans reacted.

The story of the 2016 NBA offseason has been where Kevin Durant will sign. He spoke to many teams, including the Los Angeles Clippers, Boston Celtics, and others. However, the decision was coming down to his team of nine year, the Oklahoma City Thunder, and one of the best teams in the NBA in the Golden State Warriors.

Well, in an article on The Players Tribune, Durant decided he was going to sign with the Warriors. He is leaving the Thunder, and supporters of the team gave a mixed reaction to the move.

So some fans are understanding about what Durant just did, while others seemingly aren’t able to fathom what happened.

Durant is set to join the likes of Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson and Draymond Green, among others, on the Warriors. They are coming off an NBA record 73 wins in the 2015-16 season, and now that they have Durant, could that number be similar in 2016-17?

As for the Thunder, this leaves them in an interesting situation. At the moment, this is not a sign-and-trade for Durant, which means they are going to lose their franchise player for nothing. The team will be left with Russell Westbrook being the guy in 2016-17, with recent acquisition Victor Oladipo joining him, as well as Steven Adams and Enes Kanter. They could still be a playoff team with this bunch, but losing Durant is going to show immediate side effects once next season starts.

So now we are in for years of Kevin Durant being with the Golden State Warriors. How will fans react when he goes back for a game in OKC for the first time?
