Major League Baseball has 14 games under the lights tonight giving us plenty of options as we use these FanDuel daily picks to put together our fantasy baseball lineup.

As you shake off the ringing in your ears from last night’s fireworks (or whatever activities left you with some lingering effects), get ready for another full day of Major League Baseball action including 14 games in action tonight to give us a big pool of options for tonight’s DFS fantasy baseball action.  There is one matinee game in Chicago not included in the “main” competition, but the other 28 teams (without the Cubs and Reds) leave us with plenty of different directions to go of today’s FanDuel daily picks.

Most of tonight’s action is in the early evening with seven games getting underway shortly after 7:00.  There are four more games in the midwest that start around 8:00 before three games from the West Coast close things out.  Most teams are past the halfway point in their season as they play out this final week before the All Star break which is next Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

As we continue moving quickly  to the All Star break, make sure to stay tuned to all our fantasy baseball coverage.  My FanDuel daily picks will continue to be posted most mornings right here at FanSided. My daily picks are designed to provide you the information you need to build your own lineup that can bring home a win for your team. In order to help you find the position and price-point that you need, there are a variety of options on each slide with high-salary options, mid-range options, and high-value options at each position.

More from Boston Red Sox

For starting pitchers and outfielders, I’ve separated my picks into high-salary and high-value options on separate slides while the other positions each get one slide per position with multiple pricing options. I base each of my picks on the current form of each player and the matchups each player will face in tonight’s contest game.

I’ve found it very helpful to rank my picks every morning for whatever sport I’m writing about using stars after each selection to show the strength of the pick. I’ll continue that rating system as I move over to cover fantasy baseball. For a full explanation of the rating system, check out the last slide of this post, but in short, more stars means more confidence (on a points-per-dollar basis). Also on the final slide of the post, you can see how I’m putting together the my most confident picks into my lineups for today’s competition. I suggest you build your own customized team with the players you like the most, but you’re welcome to check out my lineups and use them as a place to get started.

In my FanDuel daily picks, all salary references and references to “fantasy points” refer to FanDuel pricing and scoring.  If you are looking for similar coverage specifically for DraftKings, check the box above for related posts or find the latest on the fantasy baseball hub.

If you have any questions about my picks for today or any of our FanSided fantasy coverage, you can leave them at the bottom of the page in the comments section.  For an even quicker response, you can find me throughout the day on Twitter @FansidedFantasy. I’ve been on the road the last few days, but I’m back home after the holiday weekend so should be able to reply to tweets pretty quickly.

Make sure to follow on Twitter for any late-breaking lineup news as well and any adjustments as lineups come out throughout this Tuesday due to weather or other concerns. As lineups come out throughout this evening, I’ll adjust my team if necessary and let you know my new lineups on Twitter.

If you find my picks and analysis helpful and would like to check out my DFS fantasy baseball posts each morning, the easiest way to find the FanDuel daily picks is to drop a bookmark on our fantasy baseball hub or follow on Twitter where I’ll tweet out the links each day when my picks go live.

Tonight there are plenty of options, so let’s get going right away with my FanDuel daily picks for this Tuesday, July 5.
