Looking at the five best players still available in 2016 NBA free agency
The biggest domino in 2016 NBA free agency have finally fallen.
While there were plenty of huge re-signings by players like Andre Drummond, Nicolas Batum, Mike Conley, and so on through the first couple of days in NBA free agency, the market was largely put on hold leading up to July 4 as everyone around the league was essentially waiting on Kevin Durant to make his decision.
Now that Durant has chosen the Golden State Warriors, things have begun to happen and quickly.
Harrison Barnes is now bound for the Dallas Mavericks with the Warriors signing KD while players like Pau Gasol and Dirk Nowitzki have made their decisions now as well. Most of the big names are now finding homes and agreeing to deals with Durant signing, as was to be expected.
That being said, there is still some tremendous talent left on the open market that teams should be in hot pursuit of if they’re any kind of wise. There are both big-name players and high-impact players that may not have the name recognition of others that could still be acquired with the right deal.
Considering that there are also plenty of teams out there still looking to make an impact and a splash, it’s important to know what’s still left out there. With that in mind, let’s look at the best of what’s left.
These are the five best players still available in 2016 NBA free agency.
