NBA Free Agency Rumors: Dwyane Wade just got followed by the Cavaliers

The Cleveland Cavaliers just followed Dwyane Wade and Gabrielle Union on Twitter. Could Wade be joining a new super team?

With the Golden State Warriors loading up their roster for a title run, the rest of the NBA has been left scrambling in hopes of keeping up. Yes, that includes the NBA Champion Cleveland Cavaliers, who perhaps realize they needed a tad bit of luck to beat the Warriors in the NBA Finals. The Cavaliers just followed free agent Dwyane Wade and his wife on Twitter.

Teams follow and unfollow athletes all the time, so this might not be that big of a deal. Still, the Cavaliers just followed a free agent they have been linked to. Maybe it’s just a coincidence they followed Wade and his wife Gabrielle. Perhaps the Cavaliers just want more “loving fashion, beauty, fitness, dogs and sports :)” on their timeline.

Wade is reportedly considering his options as he continues to negotiate with the Miami Heat over a new contract. He has given everything to that city and has three NBA titles to show for it. Wade’s legacy as a Hall of Famers already secure. But he could still join the Cavaliers to help his old friend LeBron James take down the Warriors and add an extra ring or two to his already impressive resume. He would have to take less money to do so, but signing with the Cavaliers seems to be an option that Wade is at least exploring.
