E! has reportedly greenlighted a reality television mini-series, called Hollywood & Football, about the return of the Los Angeles Rams to Southern California.

The 2016 Los Angeles Rams were announced as the stars of this year’s edition of HBO’s “Hard Knocks” months ago. Now it seems E! will also put together a mini-series focusing on the Rams’ return to Southern California this upcoming NFL season, called “Hollywood & Football.”

The series was reportedly greenlighted by E! on Wednesday and will take viewers into the lives of six members of the Rams Family, as the football organization relocates from St. Louis to Los Angeles for the 2016 NFL season.

Executive vice president of programming and development at E!, Jeff Olde, commented on his network’s newest reality mini-series, “We are excited to take viewers inside of the exclusive lifestyles of these top athletes as they navigate a new city, new friendships, new schools, and the inevitable Hollywood gossip.”

The return of the country’s biggest professional sport to Los Angeles is a hugely intriguing story. If E! is going to tell it right, they’ll need to have a camera following second-year running back Todd Gurley and the No. 1 overall pick from the 2016 NFL Draft, Jared Goff.

Gurley is a top three running back in the game, the 2015 NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year, and one of the most popular players in college football in recent memory after three strong years with the SEC’s Georgia Bulldogs.

Goff is the new franchise quarterback for the Rams, going No. 1 overall to the club after three stellar years with the Pac-12’s California Golden Bears.

Besides Gurley and Goff, it would make a ton of sense to have a camera following general manager Les Snead and head coach Jeff Fisher. Snead would thrive on camera with his dapper good looks. Fisher would offer a unique perspective, as he has relocated before when his former team, the Tennessee Titans, relocated from Houston in the late 1990s. This could be a big hit for E! if they do it right.
