Dwyane Wade could be finding a new home in the NBA very soon. With Wade and the Miami Heat still not coming to terms on a new deal and the Heat having a tough time trying to clear cap space to land him, other suitors are trying their hardest to convince Wade to come play for them.
One team that has been mentioned as a landing spot is the Chicago Bulls. With Wade being from Chicago, it only makes sense that they try to get him to pair him with Jimmy Butler, Rajon Rondo and their other young talent.
According to Adrian Wojnarowski, Wade is very serious about the Bulls and Chicago is trying to do whatever it takes to unload cap space on other teams.
Sources: In last few hours, Bulls calling teams to unload contracts, trying to create space to sign Dwyane Wade. Wade is serious about them.

Two players on the Bulls that could help net them cap space he further states are Jose Calderon and Mike Dunleavy.

While neither one of those players are going to make a team anxious to answer the phone, the Bulls attaching a young asset with them would probably go a long way.
They got a nice collection of assets that could entice a team to take on those contracts and for a rebuilding team, it wouldn’t be a bad move at all. With the league comprised of very few real contenders, rebuilding teams should be in asset collection mode and doing whatever they can to improve their squad.
If that means taking on some contracts but getting a young player in return, then that is an easy decision to make.
This Wade situation is starting to get serious and with the indications that he’s willing to listen to other offers, teams are beginning to step up their pursuit of him.
