Most college football recruits try to make their mark on the field. However, Khalan Laborn committed to Florida State with a mark of his own.
The Florida State Seminoles are one of the better teams in all of College Football, and they recruit the best players in the nation. While some high school athletes are fine with wearing the cap of their school when they announce where they are attending college, others have a different way of letting people know where they are headed.
Four-star recruit Khalan Laborn announced he was heading to Florida State on Friday night, but he put his own spin on it. The highest-rated recruit in the state of Virginia, Laborn has been leaning towards Florida State for some time, so his announcement at Nike’s The Opening in Oregon was not a surprise.
How he did it, was. He pulled up to The Opening in a FSU-themed Lamborghini.

Laborn appears to be following the decision of fellow Virginia stud Levonta Taylor, who committed to FSU as the state’s best player in the 2016 cycle.
The likelihood is that the Lamborghini is a rental car, as one would figure a high school kid could not afford a six-figure automobile at this point in his life. If he becomes the kind of player he should develop into, he will likely be able to afford one in his future, though he probably will not deck it out with stickers like he did on Friday.
