4. Yoenis Cespedes

Yoenis Cespedes? This might seem like a surprise but let’s look at the numbers.

Cespedes is one of two players in history to win back to back derbys. He did it in 2013 and 2014. He ranks seventh all-time for derby home runs with 62 and 6th all-time for home runs in a single derby with 30. His best round was in 2013 when he hit 17 in the first round. Oh yeah, and he’s done this all in only two appearances.

Who can forget the show that Cespedes put on in 2013 at the home of the New York Mets, Citi Field? Cespedes was then apart of the Oakland Athletics. Home runs were being hit by Cespedes that the over sized park have never seen before. Moon shots were being launched into the third deck which many thought was an impossible task.

Experience may be low for Cespedes but talent is not. He is 2 for 2 in the derby and you can bt that he will appear in more before his career ends.
