2. Prince Fielder

Prince Fielder is one of three players to win multiple home run derbys. he did this as a member of the Brewers in 2009 and as a member of the Tigers in 2012. Fielder is also the only player ever to win a derby as a member of two teams. He is currently first all-time in total derby home runs with 81 and seventh on the list in single derby home runs with 28.

Fielder has participated in the event six times but none more memorable than in 2012 when he hit 12 home runs in the final round to best Jose Bautista.

Fielder will be remembered for his big upper cut swing and hitting balls out of the yard that might have touched the moon. Of course, he got a head start on the game as a teenager when he was hitting balls out of Yankee Stadium during batting practice with his father Cecil Fielder.

Fielder is still one of the best home run hitters in the game and in an era where the derby really took off, Fielder’s name will always be near the top.
