The Minnesota Timberwolves are playing their first game in the Las Vegas Summer League on Friday night, and Kris Dunn is already taking the league by storm. In the first quarter against the Denver Nuggets, Dunn was scoring the ball, passing the ball and all over the Nuggets on defense.

He got his NBA career started off with a bang, when he caught a lob from Tyus Jones and threw down the monster alley-oop.

Everyone knew that Dunn was an explosive athlete with a ton of potential with the ball in his hands, but to see him taking a good young point guard like Emmanuel Mudiay to task shows just how good he might be.

It’s important to keep in mind that he is playing in the summer league, but it’s hard not to get excited to see him making plays like this and the potential that he is going to have going forward for a Timberwolves team that is stacked with talent all over.
