Now that the majority of free agents have signed in the NBA, the trade winds should start picking up as teams look to shift around some depth on their roster for other positions of need or to simply rebuild their rosters.
One team that has made smart value moves in free agency is the Sacramento Kings. After a bit of a strange draft, the Kings went into free agency with a renewed focus of making smart signings that will help the basketball club out.
Now, it appears that they could be ready to move some players out that have been on the losing side of things. According to ESPN’s Marc Stein, the Kings have made center Kosta Koufos, guard Ben McLemore and forward Rudy Gay available via trade.

Gay is the prize of the three, as he is a very long forward with an ability to score the basketball. With the salary cap spike, teams could see him as easy to fit into their cap space and yet another scorer to add to the roster.
Koufos is on another friendly deal and provides good numbers for his value. McLemore has been a bust, but perhaps a new change of scenery could do him good. The Kings are really working hard on shifting their roster.
