Isaiah Crowell to apologize for posting photo of cop getting throat slashed.
With everything going on recently, racial tension between white police officers and black men are at an all-time high. This comes after incidents in Minnesota and Louisiana in which police officers fatally shot black men last week. Alton Sterling and Philando Castile were both shot and killed at the hands of cops. With both killings seeming unnecessary, it has caused for a lot of questioning and reform.
Cleveland Browns running back, Isaiah Crowell decided to take to Instagram to make his stand. He posted an image where a white officer’s throat is being slashed by someone wearing a black jacket and hood with his face covered.
The person is also wearing black gloves and has an American flag backpack on. Blood is seen coming out of the officer’s neck and mouth. Crowell captioned the picture, “They give police all types of weapons and they continually choose to kill us….#Weak.” Though, Crowell wisely deleted the picture, it was up for a long enough time to be screenshot as seen in the link below:

The Browns running back is expected to post a apology today through social media. Isaiah Crowell will also try to provide some reasoning as to why he decided to post the picture. The Cleveland Browns are aware of Crowell’s post and impending apology.
The Browns were expecting Crowell to be their leading back this season and this is not a good way for him to keep their trust.
