Jason Williams is still playing basketball at age 40.

At this time of the year, many NBA players are playing in the NBA Vegas Summer League, though for retired NBA players they stick to amateur summer league or pro-ams. For retired NBA player, Jason Williams, he’s still honing his skills at the Orlando pro-am.

Jason “White Chocolate” Williams is back at it again, making defenders look silly. Just as Williams razzled and dazzled in the NBA for 12 seasons, most notably with the Sacramento Kings, he’s still doing the same things at age 40, though on an amateur level.

Williams seems up to be up to his usual bag of tricks. From around the back passes to crossing over defenders and finishing at the rim, it seems as though Williams’ flare for the dramatic has never left him. Some highlights of Williams at the Orlando pro-am can be seen below:

It’s good to see that Williams still has some skills and is active even at the age of 40. That’s because for many NBA players they look at retirement as a time to sit back and remain idle after putting in many years in the league. That’s definitely not the case for Jason Williams, as he seems to not have lost any skills with regards to his ball-handling ability.

Maybe with this video circulating, Jason Williams might even join the list of retired NBA player that are interested in joining the Golden State Warriors that includes Stephen Jackson and Jermaine O’Neal as that seems to be the “it” thing to do for retired players right now.
