Philadelphia Eagles long snapper might have a career after his football days are over, and it might not be quite what you think.

Jon Dorenbos has been with the Philadelphia Eagles since 2006 and has been a premiere long snapper since he stepped foot in the league. He’s also a premiere magician. Yeah, you read that right.

Dorenbos took his magic to America’s Got Talent in front of millions of people and didn’t disappoint. After a quick story about his upbringing, he got right to it in front of the judges.

With a somewhat comedic act to go alongside his slight of hand, Dorenbos allowed R&B artist Ne-Yo to pick a card from the deck. He then went on to “draw” the card Ne-Yo picked on a notepad without ever seeing it.

Sure, give us a pen and paper and we will draw the right card .. .but it might take 52 tries. Dorenbos drew an Ace of Clubs and went along with it as if he had just mastered the art of magic itself. The crowd and judges reacted to his wrong pick (which was obviously planned) and what he did next was quite impressive to the naked eye.

Dorenbos played it off and made his drawing a “3-Dimensional drawing” by drawing a box of cards and having some fun with the audience saying that his card was in the deck somewhere. Now, this is where it gets pretty amazing.

After another cheeky joke, he appeared to pull a drawing of the 5 of Clubs (Ne-Yo’s card) out from the notepad much to the delight of the judges and audience.

Oh yeah, you guessed it. GOLDEN BUZZER, BABY!!

Once Dorenbos’ professional football career is over, he has a pretty awesome hobby to fall back on. Some guys have all the luck.

Tune in to America’s Got Talent on Tuesday, July 26 (one day before the Eagles are to report to training camp) to see the live shows and Dorenbos continue his magic.
