Gregg Popovich used a meeting with point guard Tony Parker and Michael Phelps to show off his Vote For Pedro shirt.

San Antonio Spurs head coach Gregg Popovich has a very unique novelty t-shirt collection. He showed off one part of it by wearing an epic Tim Duncan shirt during Duncan’s retirement press conference. Popovich showed that he is still hip by busting out an oldie but a goodie when he met with point guard Tony Parker and Olympic swimmer Michael Phelps.

Popovich would wear a Vote For Pedro shirt. If he was allowed to rock t-shirts during games, Popovich would probably wear a ridiculous novelty t-shirt every night. They say all geniuses have their quirks. New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick had his cut up hoodie phase. Denver Broncos defensive end Von Miller willingly chooses to look like a nerd with his glasses. Popovich’s quirk? Ridiculous shirts.

The Spurs have a lot of things to worry about after Kevin Durant signed with the Golden State Warriors and Duncan retired. They’ve been spending trying to catch up after starting their offseason a little bit late due to their pursuit of Durant. Popovich is too busy showing off his t-shirt collection to be worried.
