Larry Sanders was once a  young emerging center in the NBA, before he stepped away from the league to battle a courageous fight against anxiety and depression. While most thought it was crazy for him to leave the league on a big contract, Sanders has pursued other paths along the way.

He has recently flirted with a comeback and although no team has yet to sign him, that doesn’t mean he won’t come back at some point. However, one path he is currently pursuing is the music industry.

Under the name the  “L8show,” Sanders has developed a name for himself and has taken tremendous strides. While he’s fairly new to the game, he has shown a knack for it and is really good for a young talent.

He dropped the video for his single ‘Black Mercedes’ online and the reception has seemed to be pretty positive.

Personal battles like that of Sanders have claimed many and it’s a difficult battle for everyone. To see him exploring a path that is bringing him peace is a welcome sight and maybe one day he will find his way back to the league.

For now though, he can keep dropping sick beats and really cutting his teeth as a rapper.
