After most of the week off, Major League Baseball is hard at work on this Saturday including ten games under the lights. Those 20 teams give us a solid pool of players to pick from for FanDuel’s main window tonight which gets underway at 7:05 PM.  To see who I think you should get in your lineup, check out my FanDuel daily picks on the following slides.

There are a bunch of divisional series this week with players that know each other very well, but there are a few of the ten games that stand out.  Gerrit Cole is scheduled to make his return from the DL for the Pirates against the Nationals, the Dodgers and D-Backs are scheduled to duel in the desert in 111 degree weather (good thing they’re indoors!), and the Phillies look to keep surging in the NL East as they take on the Mets who have been scuffling a bit. There aren’t any extremely late games on the schedule with the last game getting underway at 9:05 PM ET.  If you play the main FanDuel competition it will probably be over by about midnight Eastern time unlike last night’s contest which went much later.

With 20 teams on the diamonds tonight, there are a ton of great options for fantasy baseball. The goal of my FanDuel daily picks (which you can find here almost every morning here at FanSided( is to provide you the information you need to select the best of those options to build your own lineup that can bring home a win.  In order to help you find the position and price-point that you need, there are a variety of options on each slide with high-salary options, mid-range options, and high-value options at each position.

More from Arizona Diamondbacks

For starting pitchers and outfielders, I’ve separated my picks into high-salary and high-value options on separate slides while the other positions each get one slide per position with multiple pricing options. I base each of my picks on the current form of each player and the matchups each player will face in tonight’s contest game.

I’ve found it very helpful to rank my picks to show the strength of each selection. For a full explanation of the rating system, check out the last slide of this post, but in short, more stars means more confidence (on a points-per-dollar basis). Also on the final slide of the post, you can see how I’m putting together the my most confident picks into my lineups for today’s competition. I suggest you build your own customized team with the players you like the most, but you’re welcome to check out my lineups and use them as a place to get started.

In my FanDuel daily picks, all salary references and references to “fantasy points” refer to FanDuel pricing and scoring.  If you are looking for similar coverage specifically for DraftKings, check the box above for related posts or find the latest on the fantasy baseball hub.
