The official announcement and reveal for Jordan Brand’s Air Jordan 31 shoe was set for July 20. The internet didn’t want to wait that long to see the official shoe.

Michael Jordan hasn’t worn his brand’s shoe line on the NBA hardwood in over 13 years. The Air Jordan line is still one of the most successful and talked about shoe lines in the world with stars like Russell Westbrook and Chris Paul carrying on the Jordan Brand legacy.

With the next shoe in line for an announcement and a Fall release — the Air Jordan 31 — the internet didn’t want to want until the official unveiling on Wednesday, July 20.

An image of the Air Jordan 31 was leaked online Saturday for the world to see.

Sole Collector gave a bit of a rundown of what to expect with the Air Jordan 31 in a brief description:

"Making rounds today is the first look at the new flagship model in the “Banned” or “Bred” colorway. The colorway and execution is a reference to the original “Banned” Air Jordan 1, which was hinted at in the teaser commercial that debuted this past week.In terms of silhouette, it’s a basic design that looks like it could be the next shoe in the Super.Fly line or an updated take on the Air Jordan Sky High. Perhaps a symbol of the brand’s evolution, the Swoosh fades out along the quarter, with a large Jumpman positioned near the heel. Tech wise, there’s a fusion of woven synthetics and leather, locked in by Dynamic Flywire."

The shoe is set for its official unveiling this coming Wednesday and the official release is scheduled for Sept. 3, which should make for a crazy Saturday with the start of the college football season and the Air Jordan 31 shoe being released.
