Which NFL players would make up Team USA if American Football was a sport in the Olympics?

The 2016 Rio Olympics are right around the corner. Some of the greatest athletes in the world will assemble to compete in a huge variety of sports.

We will all be rooting intensely for our respective countries, as these extremely impressive men and women will be competing in track and field, swimming, basketball and many other sports and events in the Olympics.

That being said, some of the greatest athletes in the world will not be represented at the Olympics, as NFL players will be getting ready for their upcoming 2016 season. Many NFL players have an incredible combination of size, power, speed and athleticism that rival most Olympic athletes.

That being said, American Football is not anywhere close to being an Olympic sport. While football is the most popular sport in the United States, it simply does not have enough interest world-wide to be in serious consideration for the Olympics.

While there are plenty of NFL players who are from other countries, the Team USA for American Football would simply be too powerful for any other country to come close to comparing to.

We are unlikely to see football as an Olympic sport anytime soon, but it is certainly fun to envision what a Team USA full of NFL players would look like.

Starting with a top-notch coaching staff, let’s take a look at Team USA for American Football in the Olympics.
