DeMarcus Cousins ‘doesn’t really understand’ Kings 2016 draft
DeMarcus Cousins seems to have just as little idea as everyone else as to what the Kings were doing in to the 2016 NBA Draft
The latest batch of DeMarcus Cousins trade rumors from Sacramento Kings have started cropping up over the past week as there have been talks about him potentially heading east. In the meantime, though, the Kings center is getting ready to represent Team USA in Rio for the Summer Olympics.
As USA Basketball was getting set for training camp on Monday, though, DeMarcus Cousins opened up to reporters and had several things to say. Perhaps the most hilarious (and haunting if you’re a Kings fan), though, was when he was talking about what the Kings did in the 2016 NBA Draft.
Boogie responded to the Kings draft by saying that what the organization did was out of his control, but made sure to add “I don’t really understand it:”

It’s not surprising that Cousins doesn’t understand the draft for the Kings in the slightest. For one, he expressed such feelings on draft night as he took to Twitter then to show his confusion. More importantly, though, he’s just like everyone else that has no idea what in the hell the Kings are doing.
Maybe they have some master plan (doubtful) and will make everyone look silly—but I’d say that their best players and lone superstar in DeMarcus Cousins not knowing what the front office is doing probably isn’t a great sign for things moving forward.
