Jim Harbaugh appears in rap video about Michigan (Video)

Jim Harbaugh appeared alongside rapper Bailey in the music video to his Michigan Wolverines tribute titled ‘Who’s Got It Better Than Us?’

Wondering what Michigan’s hype up song will be entering the 2016 season? Look no further than Bay Area rapper Bailey’s newest song “Who’s Got It Better Than Us?” Back in 2011, it was a tribute to the San Francisco 49ers when they were actually good, and the chorus was an audio sample of Jim Harbaugh yelling that question.

But now that Jim Harbaugh has left them, Bailey’s proven to be a Harbaugh stan more than anything. Just like the khaki-wearing coach, Bailey switched allegiances to maize and blue, and altered the lyrics to “Who’s Got It Better Than Us?” to honor Wolverines alums such as Desmond Howard, Tom Brady, and Charles Woodson. And Harbaugh thought it was such a good tribute that he appeared in Bailey’s music video in a yellow Lamborghini. Seriously.

While the song itself might not be enough to strike fear in Michigan’s opponents, seeing Harbaugh scream “Who’s got it better than us?” from a Lambo until he’s red in the face might just do the trick.

More than anything, this video is a real indication that the culture at U-M has changed. Now that the dark ages of Rich Rodriguez and Brady Hoke are over, fans have fully embraced Jim Harbaugh in his first year, and after an outstanding recruiting period, many are expecting bigger and better things out of the team. Expect the Michigan faithful to be blasting this song for hours on end when they win games.
