The Los Angeles Dodger’s ace pitcher will be out for the foreseeable future.
Clayton Kershaw’s injury is getting worse, per a report from the LA Times.
Clayton Kershaw "didn't feel great" on Sunday, Dave Roberts said. He's shut down until his back pain goes away. His return? "Uncertain."

The Dodger’s ace is 11-2 on the year before his injury, and is definitely one of the premiere pitchers in the entire MLB. He mildly herniated a disc late in June, and the disc is definitely not getting better.
The star pitcher might not play again this season. If he’s being shut down until his back pain goes away, he could be gone for a very long time. Back pain in general and herniated discs in specific are not things to mess with, and the Dodgers aren’t likely to endanger a man they see as a long term investment.
Kershaw has spent his entire career with the Dodgers, and they aren’t likely to give him up anytime soon. Despite being injured, he was still named to the 2016 All-Star list, and elected not to pitch.
There really isn’t any way to determine accurately when Clayton Kershaw will come back. It could be a couple of weeks, it could be a couple of months. Back pain isn’t something that you want to take lightly. Clayton Kershaw will definitely pitch in a Dodgers uniform again, it might just not be in 2016.
The Dodgers are only 5.5 games back on the Giants in the West, but without Kershaw, they might not catch them. They’re still a very good team, but the lack of Kershaw makes them that much less dangerous.
