Identifying the top high salary and value catcher plays from around Major League Baseball for your July 20 DraftKings lineup.

Our goal is to help you win DraftKings contests with consistently strong lineups. To accomplish that, we’ll be highlighting some higher salary players worth paying up for, and some value picks that will help you save salary in key areas. These picks are specifically for DraftKings lineups, so all references to prices and fantasy points are based on DK figures.

As always, be sure to double-check final MLB lineups and monitor weather situations before locking in your DFS lineups.

High Salary

Buster Posey, Giants (4,500): Left-handed pitcher Drew Pomeranz was probably thrilled to be traded from a non-contending team like San Diego to a contender like Boston. But he must surely find it funny that his first game with the Red Sox comes against the National League West-leading Giants. And, without question, he will hate seeing Posey again. Posey is 6-for-13 with a pair of home runs in his career against Pomeranz, and stands out as Wednesday’s top catcher.

Russell Martin, Blue Jays (4,100): Martin’s average against left-handers this season is OK (.257), but Arizona Diamondbacks southpaw Patrick Corbin (4-8, 5.25 ERA) has really struggled of late. Toronto has an expected run total of 5.2 for Wednesday’s game, and Martin should be a real threat for double-digit DK points.

High Value

Wilson Ramos, Nationals (3,600): True, Ramos hasn’t reached double-digit DK points since July 3. But he has hit safely in seven straight games and is 9-for-19 with a home run in his career against Los Angeles Dodgers starter Bud Norris (5-7, 4.17 ERA). Not to mention that his .327 average is tied for second in the NL. Ramos is a great value play on Wednesday.

Sandy Leon, Red Sox (3,200): Until further notice (or a radical price increase), Leon represents great DFS value. He did go hitless on Tuesday, but he’s in a nice spot for a bounce back Wednesday against San Francisco Giants veteran Matt Cain (1-5, 5.34 ERA). Boston’s expected run total (6.0) is high, as is Leon’s upside.
