Identifying the top high salary and value outfielder plays from around Major League Baseball for your July 20 DraftKings lineup.

Our goal is to help you win DraftKings contests with consistently strong lineups. To accomplish that, we’ll be highlighting some higher salary players worth paying up for, and some value picks that will help you save salary in key areas. These picks are specifically for DraftKings lineups, so all references to prices and fantasy points are based on DK figures.

As always, be sure to double-check final MLB lineups and monitor weather situations before locking in your DFS lineups.

High Salary

Mookie Betts, Red Sox (5,300): Betts has gone hitless in his last two games, but that should change Wednesday when Boston hosts San Francisco and veteran right-hander Matt Cain (1-5, 5.34 ERA). Cain’s production no longer matches his big name, and the Red Sox should be able to do some damage against him. The 23-year-old Betts is hitting .321 at Fenway Park this season.

Carlos Gonzalez, Rockies (5,000): Repeat after me: “CarGo” is a must-plat at home against any struggling right-hander. His matchup Wednesday with Tampa Bay Rays starter Chris Archer (4-13, 4.68 ERA) certainly fits the bill. Gonzalez is hitting an absurd .363 at Coors Field this season. Colorado was held to one run on four hits in Tuesday’s loss; don’t expect a repeat of that Wednesday.

High Value

George Springer, Astros (3,700): Springer’s salary hasn’t dipped this low since July 2, so it’s a great chance to get him at a discount. The 26-year-old leadoff hitter has two home runs in his last five games, and he should be in line for another solid game against Oakland Athletics rookie right-hander Daniel Mengden (1-4, 5.54 ERA).

Nelson Cruz, Mariners (3,500): This is one of the steals of the day. Cruz is coming off a three-hit outing on Tuesday, and his 23 home runs are tied for fourth in the American League. He continues to bat cleanup for Seattle, which further boosts his fantasy value. He’s also 4-for-11 with a home run in his career against Chicago White Sox starter Miguel Gonzalez (2-5, 4.40 ERA).
