Now that the brand split has officially taken place, the two main WWE shows have received some new logos
This past week there was a huge shakeup in the world of WWE, as the brand split officially took place. Both RAW and Smackdown now have separate, unique rosters after the draft this past Tuesday, and the latter will even begin airing live every Tuesday night.
Indeed, it is a new era for WWE, and with that, you would of course expect some re-branding to take place. Now when you talk about re-branding a television show, of course you’d imagine that some new logos might be in order if you’re trying to change the immediate future. Well, that is exactly what has happened.
On Friday, both Mick Foley and Daniel Bryan, the general managers of RAW and Smackdown respectively, unveiled the new logos for both of their brands.

#SmackdownLive is where Superstars are the feature & in-ring competition is the focus. #YesYesYes #NewEraNewLogo pic.twitter.com/ydTe4FYgLH

Again, this was a move that was pretty much necessary. WWE really is trying to sell people on the fact that this is a new era that we’re seeing, so you have to change the perception as much as possible. Giving the shows some new logos is a good way to get that started off.
Now, we just sit back and see whether or not splitting up the brands again was actually a good idea to begin with.
