Drake gets Kentucky hit with a NCAA violation

Drake caused Kentucky to get hit with a NCAA violation.
We all know how much the rapper Drake loves the University of Kentucky athletics. He even visited the University of Texas athletic program while donning a Kentucky “Big Blue Nation” t-shirt.
However, now Drake’s love for Kentucky athletics has gotten their basketball program into some hot water.
He was seen in a photo hanging out with one of their former basketball players. The player is Tyler Ulis, who was a second round pick of the Phoenix Suns in the 2016 NBA Draft.
You may wonder why there’s a problem with Drake hanging out with Ulis sense Ulis is now a professional. Though, the date of the picture goes back almost a year when Ulis was still preparing for his sophomore year at Kentucky.
According to SB Nation, “Kentucky self-reported a NCAA violation as a result of this picture of Drake and Tyler Ulis taken over a year ago. Chilling with Drake is cool, but it’s also considered preferential treatment.”
Also according to aA Sea of Blue, “former UK point guard Tyler Ulis was given preferential treatment at a Drake concert when he was allowed backstage and got a photo with the famous rapper.
Though the University of Kentucky has denied that claim saying “Drake, an outspoken Kentucky basketball fan who has participated in Big Blue Madness at Rupp Arena, had no contact with the player before the concert and did not provide him or his friend’s tickets to the show or access to the after-party. No benefit, monetary or otherwise.”
Even though UK has denied the claim, it did not stop the NCAA from cracking down on its basketball program.
