When is Tour de France 2017?
Taking a look at when the Tour de France 2017 will take place next summer
Chris Froome has 100 percent established himself as a powerhouse in the world of cycling and had well before this year’s Tour de France as he already had two victories in the sport’s biggest race under his belt to that point. On Sunday, Froome is going to lock up his third victory in the race and remain dominant over the rest of the competition. However, the real question is how long can it last.
Before all of the doping allegations were essentially proven correct, perhaps the most impressive feat of someone like Lance Armstrong was the longevity of his reign over the Tour de France. It was essentially an entire decade that he owned the race and seemed like he couldn’t be beat. With his third victory in the race now, Froome starts creeping into that territory.
The real question is just how long Froome can remain clean without any positive doping tests and remain atop the sport and this particular race. The next step in finding an answer to that question will of course be at Tour de France 2017.
However, the question is when exactly will we find out and when the Tour de France 2017 will actually take place.
Tour de France 2017 is scheduled for July 1 through July 23 where Froome will return and others will try to dethrone him in by far the biggest race of every cycling year.
