Is former NXT Women’s Champion Bayley going to be at WWE Battleground?
Leading up to this past week’s WWE Draft, fans learned that there would be six call-ups from NXT coming. Looking at the NXT roster and the biggest stars in the developmental brand, there were obvious names such as Finn Balor that were going to get the bump to the main roster. However, one superstar that fans expected to see drafted that ultimately wasn’t was former NXT Women’s Champion Bayley.
Bayley has been arguably the most over star in NXT for over a year at this point with a character that is absolute money. She’s one of the purest babyface wrestlers—male or female—that has been in the company in quite some time and she also happens to be able to wrestle like hell when she gets into the squared circle.
With Bayley not getting the call up to either RAW or Smackdown in the draft, though, there are still people not ruling out a call-up. Subsequently, the question of if Bayley is going to be at WWE Battleground seems more than relevant.
The obvious spot to bring Bayley up at WWE Battleground would be to have her revealed as the mystery tag team partner in her match against Charlotte and Dana Brooke. And leading up to the show, all reports and rumors indicate that Bayley will indeed be that mystery partner.
Obviously you never know for sure what WWE will do in regards to a debut until they walk through the curtain and onto the stage, but it seems almost certain that Bayley will be making her debut at WWE Battleground.
