The New Day and The Wyatt Family feuding with one another has been by far one of the best things going in the company as of late as two of the most talented teams/factions have been going back and forth. Even though they’d already met for a no rules brawl at the Wyatt’s compound, they would finally meet in the ring at WWE Battleground 2016.

Big E was set to start the match against Braun Strowman, but Xavier Woods wanted to face his fear—at least he wanted to until Bray Wyatt tagged in. Then Kofi Kingston tagged himself in and got the match going. Unfortunately, that was a bad move as Bray and then Strowman and then Erick Rowan started breaking down Kofi.

The Wyatts reigned supreme for much of the early part of the match, but then the tag champs started getting into the rhythm that they get into that makes them so dangerous, including Big E going wild on everyone and then Kofi with a big dive to the outside.

However, things came to a real turning point when Bray and Xavier had a staredown in the middle of the ring that seemed to hypnotize Woods. That allowed Kofi to be taken out.

Shockingly, though, Woods lost it in the best possible way and started taking all three members out, with a little help from Big E and a Spear to Braun Strowman of course.

When Woods turned around after the Spear, though, Wyatt was in his creepy Crab Walk and that stunned Xavier a bit. Ultimately, that gave Bray the window to counter and then hit Sister Abigail on Woods. That was enough for the 1-2-3 and the win for the Wyatts.
