The bad blood between Sasha Banks and Charlotte (and by proxy Dana Brooke) needs no introduction. However, the question coming into this match at WWE Battleground was who Sasha would have join her as her partner to square off in this tag team match. She found herself a ringer, though, in former NXT Champion Bayley.

However, Charlotte and Dana were less than impressed as they attacked both Sasha and Bayley before the match ever began.

Once she got her bearings thanks to the ref, though, Bayley came out like a ball of fire against Charlotte. It wasn’t until she tagged Sasha in that the Women’s Champion was able to get some room to counter and take advantage.

From there, Charlotte and Dana Brooke began picking apart Banks and then were able to stop Bayley’s comeback once Sasha was able to get the tag.

After more methodical and powerful wearing down of Bayley, the Hugger was able to return the favor of a hot tag and get Sasha into the match and she began to gain some leeway in this matchup.

Ever the opportunist, Charlotte was able to counter soon after, though, and hit Natural Selection with the pinfall attempt broken up by Bayley.

Sasha was then able to get her wits about her and lock in the Bank Statement, but Dana saved Charlotte. Bayley again came to her aid to take care of Brooke, but Charlotte took out Bayley before getting back into the ring and into the fold.

That turned out to be a bad decision for the champ, though, as Sasha was able to again hit the Backstabber and lock in the Bank Statement. With no Dana to help, Charlotte had no choice but to tap.

Winners: Sasha Banks and Bayley
