For the 15th straight year, the Bears report to Olivet Nazarene University in Bourbonnais, Illinois, which is about 55 miles from Soldier Field in the Windy City.

Both veterans and rookies are required to report to Bourbonnais on Wednesday, July 27t with their first practice scheduled to take place the next morning at 9:35 am.

Saturday, July 30 will be the Bears’ first padded practice, and they will stay in Bourbonnais until August 9th, just two days prior to their first preseason game.

The Bears’ training camp in Bourbonnais will be about a week shorter than usual this season, as they will spend two days in between their first preseason game against the Denver Broncos and their second game against the New England Patriots practicing with Bill Belichick and company in Foxborough.

There is still a long time until we see Jay Cutler, Pernell McPhee and company in uniform for real game action, but NFL Training Camp season is always a great time to see how far the teams have grown.

After a big off season filled with many potentially impact moves, the Bears will be one of the most interesting teams to pay attention to during training camp season.
