Finn Balor makes debut at WWE RAW in Pittsburgh (Video)

Finn Balor, after being drafted No. 5 overall to RAW one week ago, made his debut at WWE RAW in Pittsburgh, PA

Amidst some of the biggest names in WWE during the WWE Draft, the No. 5 overall pick that would be heading to RAW was the first call-up from NXT as former NXT Champion Finn Balor was taken in the first round. Anyone familiar with NXT or that has been pining for the debut of Finn Balor forever wasn’t surprised by this at all as he’s 100 percent worth that as a performer and wrestler.

However, Finn Balor had still yet to debut on the main roster at that point, which left many questions as to what’s next for the big-time future star in the company. Who would his first feud be with? Would he be a heel or a face? Would he come out with the body paint?

All of those questions were answered on Sunday night as he debuted at WWE RAW in Pittsburgh on Monday night.

WWE RAW in Pittsburgh opened with Stephanie McMahon and Mick Foley announcing a tournament to see who would face Seth Rollins for the newly minted WWE Universal Championship. The eighth man in the tournament was none other than Finn Balor (Video will be uploaded when available:

Finn Balor could have debuted by drinking a soda and eating popcorn while supporting the Baltimore Ravens in the front row and half of the crowd probably would have popped. He’s going to be a massive deal in this company and this was the start of something great at the first WWE RAW of the new era, it would seem.

Now the big question is what’s next for Finn Balor. Will he be right in the thick of the main event, have to prove himself, or something else? We don’t know—but we should be excited to find out.
