3. Los Angeles Dodgers

If there is one National League team that might want to acquire Braun, it is the Dodgers. They are in serious need of outfield help, and they will not be put off by Braun’s price tag.

The Dodgers have had seven outfielders make 30 starts or more for them this season. KK Hernandez and Trayce Thompson are currently on the disabled list. Howie Kendrick, who spent his entire career at second base, has made 49 starts in the outfield this year. It seems to be affecting him at the plate, as he has posted some of his worst numbers to date.

Then there is Yasiel Puig, who has seemingly been more of a clubhouse hassle and injury risk than a productive baseball player in the past two years. It is safe to say the Dodgers are desperate for outfield help.

Still, this team is right in the thick of things. Their core players — Chase Utley, Justin Turner, Adrian Gonzalez, Howie Kendrick and Scott Van Slyke — are all 30 years old or older. They are 3 games behind the Giants but currently hold the number four seed in the NL.

Braun is the fix their lineup needs to maintain this momentum, and he will help improve their case as World Series contenders. If any team has the assets and/or money to land Braun, it is the Dodgers.
