With the WWE brand split here now, it looks as if a second world title will be added to RAW
Sunday night at the WWE Battleground event in Washington D.C., Dean Ambrose defeated both Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins in the main event, meaning that the WWE Championship will be heading with him to be exclusively on Smackdown.
With this being the case, everyone has now been wondering if there will be a big prize to fight for on RAW, and it looks like there might be.
According to the rumor mill over at Cage Side Seats, there is indeed expected to be a second world title added into the fold, and we could see this title be introduced by the end of August; so right around the time that SummerSlam takes place, which is wildly convenient. It should also be noted that the report states it’s not known at this time whether or not the new world title will be the famed big gold belt or an entirely new design altogether.

Since the announcement of the brand split, many had wondered whether or not there would be two world titles in the company again, and it looks like that’s the direction they’re going in. There has not been two separate world titles in WWE since 2013, when Randy Orton defeated John Cena to unify the straps.
Now, though, with the rosters being exclusively split up once again, they more or less are forced to create a new top prize once again.
