After a long career with the Houston Texans and a quick stop with the Indianapolis Colts, wide receiver Andre Johnson visited with the Tennessee Titans on Tuesday.

Andre Johnson’s career tour of the AFC South division could continue this season.

According to John McClain of the Houston Chronicle, Johnson was spotted at the Tennessee Titans training camp facilities on Tuesday.

As McClain noted, there’s been no word on whether or not talks revolved around a contract or not. As for Johnson’s fit, he’d be a nice one for a troublemaking, but talented bunch of wideouts for young quarterback Marcus Mariota.

Dorial Green-Beckham and Justin Hunter have both had some off-the-field issues, but they and Kendall Wright could all learn from a seasoned veteran like Andre Johnson. He’s one of the best receivers of the last decade and could take the young wide receiver trio under his wing for at least a season or two if a deal is put into place.

For Johnson, his playing days are coming to a close. There were doubts that Johnson would continue to play after his disappointing 2015 campaign with the Colts.

Johnson had his worst season as a pro (that didn’t involve an injury) last season, catching just 41 balls for 503 yards and four touchdowns for the 8-8 Colts. There were three games last season in which Johnson didn’t log a single reception.

But, a teaching role in Tennessee could be good for Johnson. It’ll be a solid way to end his career that will likely have him ending up with a bust of his head in Canton, OH in the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Tennessee likely won’t be making the playoffs in the new-and-improved AFC South, but Johnson could finish his career tutoring some future stars at the wide receiver position.
