It’s a busy day of baseball all day long this Wednesday, July 27, and there are lots of different ways you can get your fantasy baseball team in on the action.  To help you with your lineup card for tonight, I’ve put together my DraftKings daily picks from the nine games scheduled for under the lights tonight.

The weather looks like it will threaten a few games tonight with four of the nine games expecting some kind of precipitation problem.  The Orioles host the Rockies and the Pirates expect to host the Mariners at 7:05 with rain possible in both Baltimore and Pittsburgh. At 8:05 the Rangers host the A’s and the Twins host the Braves and there could be rain in both those places as well.  It’s important to watch the forecast leading up to game time but at this point there is no “STAY AWAY” alert on any of those games though they should be monitored.

The other five games tonight are either indoors or expected to be precipitation-free.  The Mets host the Cardinals at 7:10 PM ET followed around 8:00 by the Cubs hosting the White Sox and the Royals hosting the Angels.  There are two games that start at 8:10 and could possible be played with the roof close as the D-Backs visit the Brewers and the Yankees face the Astros in Houston.

I base each of my picks on the current form of each player and the matchups each player will face in tonight’s contest.

I’ve found it very helpful to rank my picks to show the strength of each selection. For a full explanation of the rating system, check out the last slide of this post, but in short, more stars means more confidence (on a points-per-dollar basis). Also on the final slide of the post, you can see how I’m putting together the my most confident picks into my lineups for today’s competition. I suggest you build your own customized team with the players you like the most, but you’re welcome to check out my lineups and use them as a place to get started.
