Major League Baseball has a nice split schedule of action this Wednesday giving us nine games for tonight’s daily fantasy baseball highlighted in my FanDuel daily picks.

As many teams transition series today, there are six games throughout the afternoon giving teams the chance to get on their way to their upcoming weekend series earlier in the day.  There are still nine games tonight as part of the “main” competition on FanDuel, though, so there are plenty of options for daily fantasy baseball players on tonight’s slate.

The weather will threaten a few games tonight with the Twins and Pirates both hosting games that could be threatened while the Rangers and A’s should be ok after some threats of showers early in their game. None of those three games are in such a bad place that you have to stay away, but do monitor the weather closely if you add players from those contests since there is a chance there could be delays or cancellations.

There are plenty of games that are either indoors or expected to be precipitation-free.  The Rockies take on the Orioles and the Mets host the Cardinals in the 7:00 PM ET start window followed at 8:00 by the Cubs hosting the White Sox and the Royals hosting the Angels.  There are two games that start at 8:10 and will probably be played with the roof close as the D-Backs visit the Brewers and the Yankees face the Astros in Houston.

Almost every morning, you can find my FanDuel daily picks right here at FanSided.  The goal is to provide you the information you need to select the best of the available options to build your own lineup that can bring home a win.  In order to help you find the position and price-point that you need, there are a variety of options on each slide with high-salary options, mid-range options, and high-value options at each position.

More from Chicago Cubs

For starting pitchers and outfielders, I’ve separated my picks into high-salary and high-value options on separate slides while the other positions each get one slide per position with multiple pricing options. I base each of my picks on the current form of each player and the matchups each player will face in tonight’s contest.

I’ve found it very helpful to rank my picks to show the strength of each selection. For a full explanation of the rating system, check out the last slide of this post, but in short, more stars means more confidence (on a points-per-dollar basis). Also on the final slide of the post, you can see how I’m putting together the my most confident picks into my lineups for today’s competition. I suggest you build your own customized team with the players you like the most, but you’re welcome to check out my lineups and use them as a place to get started.

In my FanDuel daily picks, all salary references and references to “fantasy points” refer to FanDuel pricing and scoring.  If you are looking for similar coverage specifically for DraftKings, check the box above for related posts or find the latest on the fantasy baseball hub.
