When it’s the middle of the summer and a team is clearly out of the playoff race, it’s hard to always get full effort from players on plays that might not matter.
Tampa Bay Rays first baseman Logan Morrison believes in going hard on every play no matter the circumstance and he proved it again on Wednesday afternoon.
With the Rays taking on the Los Angeles Dodgers in a Wednesday matinee, a foul ball was popped right past the dugout and in the first row of seats next to it. Morrison had a long run to get there and as he closed in he decided to launch himself for the foul ball.
What resulted was a scary fall, as Morrison flipped over and fell hard into the concrete beneath the bleachers.

Miraculously, Morrison was able to make the catch and earned the respect of the crowd for his big play. He was helped off the field by his teammates, who patted him on the back for going all out to make the play.
Going into the stands is a scary sight, but Morrison cares about getting the win.
