NFL Training Camp: When do Minnesota Vikings start?
Looking at when Minnesota Vikings training camp starts and where the team will be practicing
In recent years, football fans have been watching the Minnesota Vikings with great interest as they’ve continued to acquire some of the best young players available and seemingly get better with each passing day. That all started to come to fruition in the 2015 season when the Vikings were able to go 11-5 behind a fantastic defense and Adrian Peterson on the offensive end and were ultimately able to win the NFC North.

Now it’s time for their title defense in the division, but also time for the Vikings to start looking to take major strides forward. They clearly have the talent on both sides of the ball to begin taking great strides forward. However, the first part of those strides is going to be set into motion at the start of Vikings training camp.
The Viking definitely made some interesting picks in the 2016 NFL Draft with some big names from the top of the draft now headed their way. Now training camp will give fans and the team their first real look into how they slot into the roster.
Laquon Treadwell was a monster in the receiving game in college, but now he could really look to add a new dimension to the Vikings offense. Minnesota’s second-round pick in Mackensie Alexander should help and add even more depth to a defense that was great season. All of this will get started at training camp, which begs the question of when Vikings training camp starts.
Both veterans and rookies will report to Vikings training camp on July 28 and camp will be held at Minnesota State University in Mankato, MN.
