According to NBA rumors, Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry is helping Kevin Durant with the decision on where to live in the area.

In the latest NBA rumors, Stephen Curry is already giving friendly advice to new teammate Kevin Durant. The first order of business? Finding a place to live. Curry says he reached out to Durant to converse a bit about the matter now that the two will be starring together for the Golden State Warriors.

According to Mercury News, Curry told ESPN’s The Undefeated, “I talked to him [Kevin] about where he is going to live. (Kevin and his crew are) staying up in Oakland first until they figure out how they are going to do things.”

It’s also noted that Curry has a place in Walnut Creek, with teammate Klay Thompson in San Francisco and Draymond Green in Emeryville. Durant will likely find the most appropriate spot for himself depending on how close he wants to live to any of the teammates.

The good news is that despite being given a quick “villain” label a few weeks ago, Durant has been well received at his new home area. On Tuesday night he received plenty of cheers and love from the ORACLE Arena crowd at a Team USA exhibition game. He also got to talk to his new teammate Curry who was at the game.

In the coming weeks, Durant will look to bring home a gold medal along with his country in basketball at the Rio Olympics. Once he finds his official home in the Bay area, expect him to continue to be embraced as a hero and the newest superstar in town.
