Warren Sapp went lobstering and caught something much, much bigger.

Hall of Famer Warren Sapp went lobstering this week and got bitten by a nurse shark, according to NFL.com. We have an Instagram photo of it, and it’s a little gross.

Warren Sapp has arguably fought tougher things than sharks, so it stands to reason that he’s okay. In fact, he was so completely unbothered by the fact that he just got bitten by a freaking shark that he tweeted about how much lobster he caught.

Centers never bothered Warren Sapp, so it stands to reason that sharks don’t either. He only spoke briefly on the phone with any members of the media before handing up and getting back to his vacation.

While not the grossest shark bite ever seen, it’s still pretty rough. That’s a good sized piece out of his arm, and it’s definitely going to need stitches.

Before becoming an analyst for the NFL Network, Warren Sapp was a star for the Bucs and the Raiders. He was one of the best defensive tackles to ever play football, plugging gaps with his 300 pound frame and getting after the passer with surprising quickness. He was known for his aggressive style of play and his brash personality.

Sapp was fired from the NFL Network in 2015, and apparently lives out his days going lobstering and being bitten by sharks. If retiring at that age with that much money means a shark bite every now and then, I think most people would take it without many questions.
